It was a bright and cheerful morning when CUTIS decided that Baby Yen Nhu needed a brand-new pair of shoes. Her old shoes were becoming too small, and CUTIS wanted to surprise her with something special.
“Mom, don’t worry!” CUTIS said confidently. “I know exactly how to choose the perfect shoes for Baby Yen Nhu!”
Mom smiled, although she was curious to see what CUTIS had planned.
At the shoe store, CUTIS carefully examined every pair. There were tiny sandals, colorful sneakers, soft slippers, and shiny little shoes. Baby Yen Nhu sat nearby, happily swinging her feet while CUTIS acted like a very serious shoe expert.
First, CUTIS looked closely at Baby Yen Nhu’s feet.
“Hmm,” he said, rubbing his chin. “This is a very difficult job.”
Instead of measuring her feet properly, CUTIS suddenly had a strange idea. He placed one of his own hands beside Baby Yen Nhu’s foot.
“This should work!” he announced proudly.
Mom immediately started laughing.
But CUTIS was not finished yet. He picked up a pair of shoes that looked far too big and placed them beside Baby Yen Nhu. “Maybe she will grow into them!” he explained.
Everyone nearby burst out laughing. Even Baby Yen Nhu seemed amused as she clapped her little hands.
CUTIS then tried another method. He asked Baby Yen Nhu to point at her favorite color. She pointed at a bright pair of shoes on the shelf.
“Aha!” CUTIS shouted. “If she likes the color, they must fit perfectly!”
Mom covered her face, trying not to laugh too loudly. “CUTIS, liking the color doesn’t mean the shoes will fit!”
Finally, a store worker brought out a measuring tool and showed CUTIS how to check the correct shoe size. CUTIS watched carefully and suddenly realized that choosing shoes was not as simple as he had imagined.
“Oh!” he said. “So this is the smart way!”
After measuring Baby Yen Nhu’s feet, CUTIS finally found a comfortable and colorful pair that fit perfectly. He proudly helped her put them on.
Baby Yen Nhu stood up and took a few tiny steps before smiling happily.
CUTIS cheered, “Success!”
Mom laughed and gave him a hug. “Your first ideas were funny, but you finally figured it out!”
Everyone laughed together as CUTIS proudly admired his work. His unusual methods may have caused plenty of giggles, but in the end, Baby Yen Nhu had the perfect new shoes—and a very proud little helper by her side! 😆🙈
