Early in the morning, CUTIS noticed that Dad was getting ready for another busy day of work. Watching Dad prepare to leave the house made CUTIS think of something special he could do to make Dad smile.
With a clever little plan in mind, CUTIS hurried over to Mom and began asking her to take him to the market. At first, Mom wondered why CUTIS was so eager to go shopping so early in the day. Usually, he preferred playing with toys or relaxing at home. But today was different.
CUTIS kept pointing toward the door and making excited gestures, determined to convince Mom that the trip was important. After several adorable attempts, Mom finally agreed to take him along.
The moment they arrived at the market, CUTIS became surprisingly focused. He carefully looked at fresh vegetables, juicy fruits, eggs, and Dad’s favorite foods. Whenever Mom picked up an ingredient that Dad loved, CUTIS nodded enthusiastically as if approving every choice.
Back home, the real mission began.
CUTIS stayed close to Mom in the kitchen while she prepared a delicious homemade lunchbox for Dad. He watched every step with great attention as Mom cooked rice, prepared vegetables, and added special dishes that Dad enjoyed after long hours of work.
Whenever Mom paused, CUTIS seemed eager to help. He carefully handed over ingredients, carried small utensils, and proudly inspected the lunchbox as it slowly filled with colorful and tasty food.
Finally, the special lunchbox was complete.
CUTIS looked extremely pleased with the result and waited excitedly for Dad to see it. When Dad opened the lunchbox later that day, he was touched to discover that CUTIS had played such an important role in preparing the surprise meal.
