From the moment the sun peeked through the window, CUTIS and Buem were already awake. The house was quiet for just a few seconds—then suddenly, the day began! Baby Yen Nhu started to cry softly, the goats outside bleated for food, and Mom called from the kitchen for help. It was another busy day for CUTIS and Buem.
“Let’s go!” CUTIS said with a grin, stretching his arms. Buem nodded, already picking up baby Yen Nhu and gently rocking her. Despite the early rush, both of them smiled. They knew their family depended on them, and that made everything feel meaningful.
CUTIS hurried outside to feed the goats, carefully pouring their food and checking the water. Meanwhile, Buem prepared a warm bottle for the baby and hummed a sweet tune to calm her down. The house slowly filled with comforting sounds—laughter, soft chatter, and little footsteps.
Soon after, Mom asked for help preparing breakfast. CUTIS chopped vegetables while Buem set the table. There were moments of small chaos—spilled milk, a dropped spoon, and a quick scramble to fix everything—but instead of frustration, they burst into laughter.
“Oops! That’s okay,” Buem giggled.
“No problem—we’ll clean it together,” CUTIS replied cheerfully.
As the morning turned into afternoon, their tasks didn’t stop. They cleaned the house, folded clothes, and even found time to check on the animals again. It was tiring work, and sweat dotted their foreheads, but their hearts felt light.
During a short break, they sat side by side, sipping water and watching baby Yen Nhu sleep peacefully.
“Even though it’s busy… I feel really happy,” Buem said softly.
CUTIS nodded. “Me too. Taking care of everyone makes me feel proud.”
In that moment, they realized something important—happiness doesn’t always come from resting or playing. Sometimes, it comes from helping others and sharing love through small actions.
As evening came, the house was calm again. The chores were done, the family was safe and smiling, and CUTIS and Buem felt a deep sense of joy.
They were tired, yes—but their hearts were full.
