It started like an ordinary morning, with Dad getting ready for work while CUTIS watched everything with great curiosity. Dad carefully packed his bag, checked his belongings, and placed one of his important work tools on the table before stepping away for a moment.
A few minutes later, Dad returned and couldn’t immediately find the tool.
CUTIS noticed Dad looking around the room and instantly became concerned. Seeing Dad search under the table and around the chairs made CUTIS believe something very serious had happened.
The important work tool had disappeared!
Without wasting any time, CUTIS jumped into action. He began searching every corner of the room, looking under cushions, behind doors, and even inside toy boxes. His determined expression made it clear that he had accepted the role of chief detective for the mission.
Dad tried not to laugh as he watched CUTIS investigate the mystery with complete seriousness.
CUTIS checked the sofa several times, peeked under blankets, and carefully inspected every suspicious location. Whenever he found an object that looked remotely similar, he proudly carried it over to Dad, only to discover it was something completely different.
The search continued for quite a while.
As the mystery grew deeper, CUTIS started looking more and more worried. He seemed convinced that he had somehow lost Dad’s important work tool and felt responsible for helping solve the problem.
Then came the unexpected twist.
Dad reached into his own bag and suddenly pulled out the missing tool. It turned out he had placed it there earlier and simply forgotten about it.
For a moment, CUTIS stared in complete surprise.
After realizing the tool had never been lost at all, everyone burst into laughter. CUTIS looked both relieved and slightly embarrassed by the misunderstanding.
Even though the great mystery turned out to be a false alarm, Dad was touched by how much CUTIS cared and how hard he worked to help.
