How Did Baby Monkey Xuka Feel When Her Dad Made Her a Swing?

Baby monkey Xuka had been watching the birds outside her home every morning. She loved seeing them fly from tree to tree and perch on the branches that danced in the wind. Sometimes she would sit quietly and imagine what it would feel like to swing high in the air just like them.

Her dad noticed the curious look on Xuka’s face whenever she stared at the trees. He smiled and came up with a special surprise just for her.

Early one morning, while Xuka was still playing with her toys, Dad gathered some strong ropes and a smooth wooden seat. He carefully worked under the large tree near their house, tying the ropes securely to one of the strongest branches. After checking it several times to make sure it was safe, he called out, “Xuka, come outside! I have something for you!”

Xuka hurried over and suddenly stopped in amazement. Hanging beneath the tree was a beautiful swing made especially for her.

Her eyes grew wide with excitement.

“Is this really for me?” she asked happily.

Dad nodded with a big smile.

At first, Xuka was a little nervous. She held tightly to the ropes as Dad gently pushed the swing forward. Slowly, she began moving back and forth. The cool breeze touched her face, and soon her nervousness disappeared.

Before long, laughter filled the garden.

“Higher, Dad! Higher!” Xuka shouted with joy.

She felt as if she were flying with the birds she admired every day. The swing made her feel free, happy, and loved.

For the rest of the afternoon, Xuka played on her new swing, smiling from ear to ear. She even invited her friends to watch her soaring through the air.

That evening, Xuka hugged her dad tightly.

“Thank you for the best gift ever,” she said.

For Xuka, the swing was more than just a toy—it was a special reminder of her father’s love and care.
