It was a bright and peaceful morning when a tiny baby monkey suddenly began to cry. His little tummy was rumbling, and he was very hungry. He looked around for food, but there was nothing nearby. The baby monkey’s sad cries echoed through the garden as he sat alone, holding his stomach.
Not far away, Monkey Lala was happily playing with her favorite toy. She was having fun chasing butterflies when she heard the heartbreaking cries. Lala stopped immediately and listened carefully.
“Someone needs help!” she thought.
Without wasting a second, Lala rushed toward the sound. Soon, she found the hungry baby monkey sitting under a tree with tears in his eyes.
“What’s wrong?” Lala asked gently.
The baby monkey pointed to his stomach and let out another sad cry. Lala quickly understood that he was desperately hungry.
Determined to help, Lala sprang into action. She searched the garden for food and soon spotted a banana tree nearby. Climbing skillfully from branch to branch, she picked several ripe bananas and carried them back to the baby monkey.
His eyes lit up with excitement.
Lala peeled one banana and handed it to him. The hungry little monkey grabbed it eagerly and began eating. Within moments, his tears disappeared. He happily munched on the sweet fruit while Lala sat beside him, making sure he had enough to eat.
After finishing the bananas, the baby monkey smiled for the first time that day. His tiny tail wagged with happiness, and he gave Lala a big hug to thank her.
Just then, the baby’s mother arrived. She had been searching everywhere for her little one. When she saw him safe, fed, and smiling, she felt relieved and grateful.
The mother monkey thanked Lala for her kindness and caring heart.
Lala smiled shyly. She didn’t help because she wanted praise—she simply wanted to make someone happy.
As the sun began to set, the baby monkey and his mother returned home together. Meanwhile, Lala walked away feeling warm inside.
That day, everyone learned that even the smallest act of kindness can turn tears into smiles and make the world a little brighter.
