Lala and Mom Received a Gift from Kien on International Women’s Day!

It was a bright and cheerful morning, and Lala woke up feeling something special in the air. The house seemed a little quieter than usual, yet filled with a warm sense of excitement. She stretched, yawned, and quickly ran to find Mom, who was already in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

“Good morning, Mom!” Lala chirped happily.

“Good morning, my dear,” Mom replied with a gentle smile. “Do you know what day it is today?”

Lala tilted her head, thinking hard. Suddenly, her eyes lit up. “Oh! It’s International Women’s Day!”

Mom nodded proudly. “That’s right. A day to celebrate love, strength, and appreciation.”

Just then, there was a soft knock on the door. Lala hurried over and opened it, only to find a beautifully wrapped box sitting on the doorstep. A small note was attached, written in neat handwriting.

“It’s from Kien!” Lala exclaimed excitedly, bringing the gift inside.

Mom wiped her hands and joined Lala at the table. Carefully, they opened the box together. Inside, they found a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers, a handmade card, and a small bundle of thoughtful items—soft scarves and sweet treats.

Lala picked up the card and read it aloud, “Dear Mom and Lala, thank you for your kindness, love, and all the wonderful things you do every day. Wishing you a joyful International Women’s Day! —Love, Kien.”

Mom’s eyes softened with emotion. “That’s so thoughtful of Kien,” she said warmly.

Lala hugged the flowers tightly. “He remembered us! This is such a surprise!”

They spent the rest of the morning arranging the flowers in a vase and sharing the treats together. The house felt even brighter, filled with laughter and gratitude.

“Today isn’t just about receiving gifts,” Mom gently said. “It’s about appreciating each other and the love we share.”

Lala nodded, smiling. “Then let’s make it extra special!”

Together, they decided to prepare a small thank-you surprise for Kien in return. It was a simple gesture, but filled with meaning.

That day, Lala learned that the best gifts weren’t just things—they were the love, thoughtfulness, and appreciation behind them.
