Lala Decides to Stay in the Bamboo House Because She Is Angry with Mom!

It all started with a small argument that quickly turned into something much bigger. Lala stood in the middle of the room, her arms crossed tightly and her cheeks puffed with anger. Mom had just refused her request to go out and play, saying she needed to finish her chores first.

“That’s not fair!” Lala shouted. “You never let me do anything fun!”

Mom sighed, trying to stay calm. “Lala, you can go after you finish your responsibilities.”

But Lala didn’t want to listen. Feeling misunderstood and upset, she stomped her feet and ran out of the house before Mom could say another word.

She didn’t go far—just to the small bamboo house at the edge of the yard. It was a quiet place, usually used for storing tools, but today it became Lala’s “new home.”

“I’m staying here!” Lala declared, sitting down on the wooden floor. “I don’t need anyone!”

At first, she felt proud of her decision. The bamboo house was peaceful, and the gentle rustling of the leaves made her feel calm. She imagined she was strong and independent, living all by herself.

But as time passed, things began to feel different.

The house grew quieter… too quiet. The wind started to blow harder, making the bamboo walls creak. Lala hugged her knees, suddenly feeling a little scared.

“I wonder what Mom is doing…” she whispered.

Back at home, Mom noticed Lala had been gone for a while. Concern filled her heart. She prepared some warm food and walked toward the bamboo house.

When she arrived, she found Lala sitting alone, her earlier anger replaced with sadness.

“Lala,” Mom said softly, “are you okay?”

Lala looked up, her eyes teary. “I was mad… but I got lonely.”

Mom smiled gently and sat beside her. “It’s okay to feel angry, but running away won’t solve things.”

Lala nodded slowly. “I’m sorry, Mom.”

They hugged tightly, the warmth melting away all the hurt feelings.

Hand in hand, they walked back home together—leaving the bamboo house behind, and bringing their love and understanding with them.
