It was a beautiful morning on the family farm, and the golden cornfields swayed gently in the warm breeze. Little Monkey Lala eagerly followed Mom through the rows of tall corn plants, carrying a tiny basket with a big smile on her face. Today was harvest day, and Lala couldn’t wait to help.
Mom carefully picked the ripest ears of sweet corn, peeling back the green husks to reveal bright golden kernels. “Look how fresh they are!” Mom said happily. Lala clapped her hands with excitement. The shiny corn looked so delicious that she could already imagine the wonderful meal they would make together.
After filling their basket, they returned home and washed the fresh corn. Mom carefully sliced the kernels from the cobs while Lala watched closely, eager to learn. The kitchen soon filled with the sweet aroma of freshly harvested corn.
