One sunny morning, Lala was getting ready for a fun day outdoors when she noticed her fluffy friend, Bon, hiding quietly under a tree. Usually, Bon loved running, playing, and showing off his soft, shiny fur. But today, something looked very different.
“Bon, what’s wrong?” Lala asked as she walked closer.
To her surprise, Bon’s fur was tangled, dusty, and full of tiny leaves and twigs. It looked messy from head to tail! Lala couldn’t believe her eyes.
“Oh my goodness, Bon! Your fur has never looked like this before!”
Bon lowered his head shyly. The day before, he had spent hours exploring the forest, chasing butterflies, crawling through bushes, and rolling down grassy hills. He had so much fun that he completely forgot to clean himself afterward.
Lala smiled kindly instead of laughing. “Don’t worry,” she said. “Let’s get you cleaned up!”
She filled a small tub with warm water and gathered gentle pet shampoo, a soft brush, and fluffy towels. Bon stepped into the bath, although he wasn’t sure he would enjoy it.
Lala carefully washed away the dirt and leaves while gently brushing out the knots in his fur. Bon stayed very still as she worked patiently, making sure not to pull too hard. Soon, the muddy water disappeared, and Bon’s beautiful fur began to shine again.
After the bath, Lala wrapped Bon in a warm towel and used a gentle dryer on the lowest setting. She brushed his coat one last time until it became soft, fluffy, and smooth.
Bon looked into a mirror and couldn’t stop smiling. He wagged his tail happily, amazed by how clean and handsome he looked.
Just then, their friends arrived to play. Everyone complimented Bon’s fresh, fluffy coat, and he proudly thanked Lala for helping him.
From that day on, Bon promised to brush his fur after every outdoor adventure and never let it become so messy again.
Lala learned that caring for a friend means helping them when they need it most, and Bon discovered that a little grooming after a big adventure keeps him healthy, comfortable, and ready for even more fun tomorrow.
