Lala Panics and Runs Away Because of the Thunder and Lightning While She’s Swimming!

It was a warm afternoon, and Lala couldn’t resist the sparkling blue water of the small lake near her home. With a joyful splash, she jumped in, laughing as she paddled around. The sun shone brightly, and everything felt peaceful. Birds chirped nearby, and a gentle breeze rippled across the water.

Lala was having the best time, floating on her back and watching the clouds drift lazily in the sky. But after a while, the clouds began to change. They grew darker and heavier, slowly covering the sun.

Lala didn’t notice at first. She was too busy playing. But then—rumble! A deep sound echoed through the sky.

Lala froze.

Another loud crack! followed, and this time a bright flash of lightning streaked across the clouds. Her heart jumped in fear.

“T-thunder?” she whispered, her voice shaking.

The wind picked up, and the water around her began to ripple more strongly. Leaves rustled, and the peaceful lake suddenly felt unfamiliar and scary.

BOOM!

A loud thunderclap roared above her, making Lala gasp. Panic rushed through her body. Her arms started paddling wildly as she tried to get back to shore.

“I need to get out!” she cried.

Her breathing grew fast, and her thoughts tangled in fear. The once-fun lake now felt like a dangerous place. She splashed and struggled, trying to move faster, but the more she panicked, the harder it became.

Another flash of lightning lit up the sky, followed instantly by thunder. Lala let out a small scream and pushed herself with all her strength toward the edge.

Finally, her feet touched the ground. She stumbled out of the water, dripping and shaking. Without looking back, she ran as fast as she could toward home, her heart still pounding.

As she reached the porch, Mom rushed out to meet her.

“Lala! What happened?” she asked, wrapping her in a warm towel.

“I was swimming… and then the thunder came!” Lala said, her voice trembling.

Mom hugged her gently. “You did the right thing by getting out quickly. Storms can be dangerous, especially near water.”

Lala nodded, slowly calming down in Mom’s arms. Though she was still a little scared, she felt safe again.

That day, Lala learned an important lesson—when nature changes suddenly, it’s always best to stay alert and find safety right away.
