It had been a long and exciting day on the family farm. Little monkey LYLY spent the morning playing in the garden, chasing butterflies, climbing small trees, and helping her mother gather fresh fruit. By the afternoon, she was completely worn out, though she stubbornly insisted she still had plenty of energy.
The cameraman had been filming LYLY’s playful adventures all day. Whenever she discovered something funny or cute, she would run over to him as if he were an old friend. He patiently followed her around, capturing every joyful moment.
As the warm afternoon breeze drifted through the trees, LYLY’s playful spirit began to fade. She rubbed her sleepy eyes and let out a tiny yawn.
Without saying a word, she slowly walked over to the cameraman. She wrapped both arms tightly around his leg, climbed gently into his lap, and rested her little head against his chest.
Within moments, LYLY was fast asleep.
Her tiny hands held onto the cameraman’s shirt so firmly that no one dared disturb her peaceful rest.
When Mom came over with a soft blanket, she smiled warmly and whispered, “Let me carry her inside so she can sleep comfortably.”
But the moment Mom carefully reached toward LYLY, the little monkey hugged the cameraman even tighter without opening her eyes. She let out a sleepy little sound, making everyone nearby burst into gentle laughter.
“It looks like she has chosen her favorite pillow today,” Dad joked.
The cameraman sat perfectly still, afraid that even the smallest movement might wake her. For nearly an hour, he quietly held LYLY while the rest of the family continued their chores around the farm.
When LYLY finally woke up, she blinked slowly and looked around in surprise. Seeing her mother smiling nearby, she stretched her little arms and happily reached out for a warm hug.
Mom kissed her forehead and laughed. “You certainly gave everyone a surprise today.”
The family shared a cheerful laugh as they headed home together. The sweet moment reminded everyone that children often feel safest with the people they trust, and that love can be shown in the simplest, most heartwarming ways.
