Little monkey LYLY always believed she was the number one baby in her mom’s heart. Every day, she followed Mom everywhere, cuddled beside her during naps, and loved receiving warm hugs before bedtime. But one funny afternoon, something unexpected happened that completely changed LYLY’s mood.
Mom was cleaning the bedroom when she found LYLY’s old teddy bear hidden behind a pillow. The teddy bear was soft, fluffy, and wearing a tiny red bow tie. Smiling warmly, Mom picked it up and hugged it tightly while saying, “Aww, this teddy is so cute!”
The moment LYLY saw that, her eyes became wide with shock.
She quickly climbed onto the bed and stared suspiciously at the teddy bear in Mom’s arms. Usually, Mom hugged only LYLY like that. But now the teddy bear was getting all the attention! LYLY crossed her tiny arms and made an adorable grumpy face.
Mom didn’t notice at first because she was busy dusting the room. But LYLY had already started planning her funny little protest.
First, she grabbed another stuffed toy and hugged it dramatically while looking directly at Mom. Then she turned her back and pretended not to care. A few seconds later, LYLY slowly peeked over her shoulder to check if Mom was watching her.
When Mom laughed softly, LYLY became even more jealous.
She climbed onto Mom’s lap and gently pushed the teddy bear away with both tiny hands. Then she wrapped her arms tightly around Mom’s neck as if saying, “Mom belongs to ME!”
Mom finally understood what was happening and burst into laughter. “Oh LYLY, are you jealous of your teddy bear?” she asked playfully.
LYLY responded by making funny noises and hiding the teddy behind a pillow again. But after a few minutes, her jealousy disappeared when Mom hugged both LYLY and the teddy bear together.
Soon, LYLY was happily playing with the teddy again, acting as if nothing had happened. Everyone in the house laughed at the silly little monkey who became jealous of a stuffed toy. It was one of the funniest and cutest moments Mom had ever seen.
