LYLY had always been a curious little monkey, but one afternoon, her curiosity got the better of her. While her mother was busy with chores around the house, LYLY quietly slipped away without saying where she was going. At first, her mother thought she was nearby, playing as usual. But after a while, the house became strangely quiet.
“LYLY? Where are you?” her mother called.
There was no answer.
Her mother checked the yard, the garden, and all the places where LYLY usually played. She looked behind the trees and around the house, hoping to spot her little girl. As the minutes passed, her worry grew. She began searching more frantically, calling LYLY’s name again and again.
Meanwhile, LYLY was enjoying her secret little adventure. She wandered farther than she had planned and became fascinated by everything around her. She watched the birds, explored some plants, and played with things she found along the way. But eventually, she realized something important—she had been away for quite a long time.
LYLY suddenly remembered her mother.
She began making her way back home, walking quietly and hoping nobody would notice that she had disappeared. When she finally reached the house, she carefully peeked around the corner.
Then she saw her mother.
Her mother was still searching, looking worried and exhausted. LYLY immediately realized how much trouble she had caused. Instead of making another sound, she slowly sneaked toward the house.
But just as LYLY tried to slip inside unnoticed, her mother turned around.
Their eyes met.
For a moment, LYLY froze.
Her mother rushed over and pulled her into a big hug. The fear and worry on her face quickly turned into relief. LYLY seemed to understand that her mother had been desperately searching for her because she loved her and was afraid something had happened.
After the hug, her mother gently reminded LYLY never to disappear without telling her where she was going. LYLY listened quietly and stayed close to her mother.
