Mom… I’m So Sad! Monkey LYLY Is Disappointed Because Her Beloved Swimming Pool Is Broken

It was another hot summer morning, and little Monkey LYLY woke up with excitement sparkling in her eyes. The first thing she wanted to do was visit her favorite place in the whole yard—her swimming pool!

Every day, LYLY loved splashing in the cool water, floating with her toys, and playing fun games while her mom watched and laughed nearby. The swimming pool was her happy place during the warm summer days.

But as LYLY ran outside, her cheerful smile suddenly disappeared.

“Oh no!”

The pool was empty.

Water had leaked everywhere, and there was a large tear along the side of the pool. Her beloved swimming pool was broken.

LYLY stood quietly for a moment, staring at it in disbelief. Then her eyes became watery, and she slowly walked back to the house with her head hanging low.

“Mom…” she called softly.

Her mother quickly noticed the sadness on LYLY’s face and gave her a gentle hug.

“What happened, my little one?”

LYLY pointed toward the yard and sadly showed her mom the damaged pool. She looked so disappointed that she could barely make a sound.

Mom understood immediately.

Together, they inspected the pool and discovered that one small sharp object had accidentally punctured it during the night.

For a moment, LYLY thought her summer fun was over.

But Mom smiled and said, “Don’t worry, LYLY. Problems can be fixed.”

The two of them worked together to clean and patch the hole. LYLY eagerly helped by holding the repair kit and bringing towels and tools to her mom.

After waiting patiently for the patch to dry, they filled the pool with water once again.

Slowly, the pool came back to life.

LYLY’s sad face turned into the biggest smile of the day.

She jumped into the water with joy and splashed happily beside her mom.

That day, LYLY learned that even when something precious breaks, love, teamwork, and patience can help make things right again.
