It was a peaceful afternoon at home when Mom noticed something unusual. Abu was quietly carrying his things outside, one item at a time. At first, Mom didn’t think much of it, but after seeing him make several trips, her curiosity quickly grew.
“What is Abu planning?” Mom wondered.
Abu looked unusually serious. He carefully picked up a small bag and carried it outside. Then he returned and grabbed another item. A few minutes later, he came back with even more things.
Mom watched from a distance, trying to figure out what was happening.
Abu didn’t seem interested in explaining anything. Whenever Mom looked at him, he simply continued with his mysterious mission.
Soon, Mom couldn’t resist her curiosity anymore. She walked closer and asked, “Abu, what are you doing?”
Abu paused for a moment and looked at her with an innocent expression. Then he quickly turned around and continued carrying his belongings.
Mom laughed.
She decided to follow him quietly.
Outside, Abu had started arranging his things in a small shaded area. He placed his bag in one corner, moved a blanket nearby, and carefully positioned a few of his favorite items around it.
Mom’s curiosity grew even more.
Was Abu building a little house? Was he planning a picnic? Or was he preparing a secret hiding place?
She waited patiently and watched.
After several minutes, Abu finally sat down in the middle of his little setup. He looked completely satisfied with himself.
Mom suddenly understood.
Abu had created his own cozy outdoor relaxation spot!
He stretched out comfortably, looked around proudly, and appeared very happy with his clever little arrangement.
Mom burst into laughter.
“So that’s what you’ve been doing all this time!” she said.
Abu looked at Mom as if he couldn’t understand why she found it funny. To him, everything was perfectly planned.
Mom sat nearby and admired his creativity. She was amused by how seriously Abu had worked to create his own comfortable space.
Before long, Mom brought him some fresh water and joined him outside for a few minutes. Abu happily relaxed while Mom enjoyed watching his funny behavior.
What began as a mysterious series of trips turned into a sweet and hilarious family moment.
Abu had proven once again that he didn’t need much to make himself happy. With a few favorite things, a little shade, and plenty of determination, he had created his own special place to relax.
