One bright and beautiful morning, Monkey Bibi woke up excited to spend the day with Dad. When he looked outside, he saw Dad preparing the ground around their home. Dad had decided to plant fresh green grass to make the yard look cleaner, softer, and more beautiful.
Bibi immediately wanted to help.
He grabbed a small basket and followed Dad outside. Dad showed Bibi how to prepare the soil before planting the grass. Together, they removed small stones, dry leaves, and little branches from the ground.
Bibi worked very hard. He picked up one small stone at a time and placed it into a pile. Sometimes he became distracted by interesting leaves or tiny insects, but Dad patiently encouraged him to keep going.
Once the ground was ready, Dad brought out the fresh grass. Bibi became very excited when he saw how green and soft it looked.
“Let’s plant it together!” Dad seemed to say.
Dad carefully placed the grass into the prepared soil while Bibi helped cover the edges with loose dirt. At first, Bibi was a little clumsy and accidentally pushed too much soil onto one patch. Dad gently showed him how to spread it evenly.
Bibi quickly learned and became better with every try.
After planting several sections, Dad brought out a watering can. Bibi was thrilled because he loved playing with water. He carefully carried the can and began watering the newly planted grass.
Unfortunately, Bibi got a little too excited and sprayed water everywhere!
Some water landed on Dad, and both of them started laughing.
Bibi then tried again, this time watering the grass more carefully. Dad smiled proudly as they continued working together.
By the afternoon, the yard looked completely different. Fresh green grass covered the ground, and everything looked bright and beautiful.
Bibi sat beside Dad and admired their hard work. His little feet were covered with soil, and there were tiny drops of water on his fur, but he didn’t mind at all.
Dad gently patted Bibi and thanked him for being such a helpful little helper.
Bibi was happy because he had spent the whole day learning, playing, and working alongside Dad.
As they rested together, Bibi realized that helping Dad could be just as fun as playing. Their new green yard was not only beautiful—it was a wonderful reminder of the special day they had shared together. 🌱🐵💚
