One beautiful morning, Monkey Bobo woke up feeling hungry and excited. After finishing his breakfast, he suddenly remembered that there was a delicious cake inside the refrigerator. Just thinking about the sweet treat made his mouth water! Bobo loved cake more than almost anything, and he couldn’t wait to enjoy a big slice.
He quickly ran toward the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. Inside, he discovered several colorful cakes stored in different containers. There was a chocolate cake, a strawberry cake, and a vanilla cake. Bobo’s eyes sparkled with excitement as he looked at all the delicious choices.
Without thinking carefully, Bobo reached for a cake that looked exactly like his favorite chocolate cake. He carefully took it out, placed it on the kitchen table, and grabbed a spoon. He was so excited that he didn’t even check the label on the container!
Bobo eagerly scooped up a big bite and put it into his mouth. But suddenly, his expression changed! Instead of the rich chocolate flavor he expected, he tasted something completely different. It was a strong strawberry flavor!
Bobo blinked in surprise and looked at the cake again. He couldn’t understand what had happened. He took another tiny bite, hoping the taste would somehow change, but it was still strawberry! His funny reaction made the whole situation even more amusing.
Determined to find his favorite flavor, Bobo opened the refrigerator again and searched carefully. This time, he checked every container before making his choice. Unfortunately, the chocolate cake was hidden behind a large bowl, and Bobo had overlooked it the first time.
Just as he was about to take another slice, his mother walked into the kitchen. She saw Bobo standing beside the open refrigerator with cake crumbs around his mouth. She couldn’t help laughing at his confused expression.
Bobo sheepishly showed his mother the strawberry cake. When she explained that he had picked the wrong flavor by mistake, he finally understood what had happened. His mother gently reminded him to check before taking food from the refrigerator and to ask permission before eating dessert.
Afterward, she helped him find the chocolate cake and served him a small slice. Bobo happily enjoyed his favorite treat, feeling much better.
