It started as a peaceful afternoon at home, with everyone enjoying the calm weather. Monkey Lyly was happily playing with her toys in the living room while Tommy the cat wandered around the house with his usual curious energy. No one expected that Tommy’s playful mischief would soon create a big problem.
While chasing a butterfly near the window, Tommy accidentally knocked over a flower vase from the table. The vase crashed onto the floor with a loud sound, scattering water, flowers, and broken pieces everywhere. Startled by the noise, Tommy quickly ran and hid under the sofa, leaving the mess behind.
Lyly rushed over and was shocked to see the disaster. The floor was wet, petals were everywhere, and the broken glass looked dangerous. For a moment, Lyly felt upset because Tommy had caused such a big mess and disappeared. But instead of getting angry, she decided to handle the problem herself.
Very carefully, Lyly first made sure Tommy was safe under the sofa. Then she grabbed a small broom and dustpan. With surprising patience, she began sweeping the broken pieces into a neat pile. She also used a towel to wipe up the spilled water so no one would slip. Even though it was hard work for a little monkey, Lyly stayed focused and determined.
As she cleaned, Tommy slowly peeked out from under the sofa. He seemed nervous and guilty, watching Lyly fix the problem he had caused. Seeing his sad face, Lyly didn’t scold him. Instead, she smiled gently and patted his head, showing him that mistakes can be solved with responsibility and teamwork.
What happened next made the moment even sweeter.
Tommy suddenly stepped forward and helped in his own adorable way by carrying one of the fallen flowers back to the table. Lyly laughed happily, and together they finished cleaning the area. When Mom came into the room, she was amazed to see everything spotless again.
After hearing what happened, Mom praised Lyly for being calm, kind, and responsible. She also gave Tommy a gentle cuddle, reminding him to be more careful next time.
That little accident turned into a beautiful lesson. Lyly showed that solving problems with patience is much better than blaming others, and Tommy learned that even mistakes can bring everyone closer together in the end.
