Monkey Lyly Hid on Top of the Cupboard and Her Mother Discovered the Truth Behind It

One quiet afternoon, Monkey Lyly’s mother noticed something very unusual inside the house. Normally, little Lyly would run around happily, playing with toys, climbing chairs, or following her mother everywhere. But today, the house was strangely silent.

Her mother looked around the kitchen, the bedroom, and even outside near the garden, but Lyly was nowhere to be found. She started feeling worried and called out softly, “Lyly, where are you?” Still, there was no answer.

A few moments later, she heard a tiny sound coming from the corner of the room. It was a soft rustling noise above the cupboard. When she looked carefully, she was surprised to see little Monkey Lyly hiding on top of the tall cupboard, hugging her knees tightly and peeking down with nervous eyes.

Her mother quickly moved closer, afraid Lyly might fall. “Lyly, why are you hiding up there?” she asked gently.

At first, Lyly stayed quiet and looked embarrassed. After a moment, tears slowly filled her eyes. Finally, she admitted the truth. Earlier that day, Lyly had accidentally broken a small bowl while trying to help clean the table. The loud crashing sound scared her badly. She thought her mother would become angry and punish her, so she climbed to the top of the cupboard to hide.

Hearing this, Lyly’s mother felt both relieved and touched. She smiled kindly and told Lyly not to be afraid. “Accidents happen,” she said softly. “What matters is telling the truth and being careful next time.”

Lyly slowly climbed down into her mother’s arms. The little monkey immediately burst into tears, feeling guilty for hiding instead of speaking honestly. Her mother hugged her warmly and wiped away her tears with love.

Together, they cleaned up the broken pieces safely and continued their day peacefully. Lyly learned an important lesson that day: hiding from mistakes only creates more fear, but honesty and courage always bring comfort and understanding.

By evening, little Lyly was smiling again, happily sitting beside her mother while enjoying her favorite fruit snack, feeling safe, loved, and forgiven.
