It was a bright and cheerful morning, and Monkey LYLY was excited because she was going to the market with her mother. The market was one of her favorite places. There were colorful fruits, delicious snacks, and many friendly people to see. But before leaving the house, LYLY noticed something interesting.
Her mother was sitting in front of a mirror, carefully putting on makeup. She brushed her hair, applied a little powder, and added some lipstick. LYLY watched closely from the doorway, fascinated by every movement. She tilted her head and stared at her mother with wide, curious eyes.
As soon as her mother left the room for a moment, LYLY had an idea.
She quickly climbed onto the chair and sat in front of the mirror. Looking at her reflection, she began copying everything her mother had done. LYLY grabbed a makeup brush and gently brushed her fluffy cheeks. Then she picked up a powder puff and tapped it all over her face. She looked very serious, as if she were a professional makeup artist preparing for an important event.
The funniest moment came when LYLY found the lipstick. She carefully twisted it open and tried to apply it just like her mother. Instead of staying on her lips, the lipstick ended up on her nose, cheeks, and even her forehead! LYLY proudly admired her colorful “masterpiece” in the mirror.
When her mother returned, she couldn’t believe what she saw. There sat LYLY, covered in makeup from head to toe, smiling proudly at her reflection. For a second, her mother was speechless. Then she burst into laughter.
LYLY happily clapped her hands, thinking she had done a wonderful job. Her mother gently cleaned her face and explained that makeup wasn’t a toy. Still, she couldn’t help smiling at LYLY’s adorable attempt to imitate her.
A little while later, the two finally headed to the market together. LYLY walked proudly beside her mother, holding her hand and feeling very grown-up.
Although her makeup adventure didn’t go exactly as planned, it became a funny and unforgettable memory that made both LYLY and her mother smile all day long.
