Monkey Lyly was incredibly proud of her little flower garden. It wasn’t very big, but she had spent many days taking care of it. Every morning, Lyly carried a small container of water to the garden and carefully watered each flower. She loved watching the colorful blossoms grow and often sat beside them, enjoying their beautiful fragrance.
One afternoon, Lyly happily returned to her garden after helping around the house. But when she arrived, she suddenly stopped.
Her beautiful flowers were scattered everywhere.
Some of the plants had been stepped on, and several flowers were broken. The little garden that Lyly had worked so hard to create looked completely different. Her smile disappeared, and she stared at the mess with tears beginning to form in her eyes.
Lyly was heartbroken.
She soon discovered that her mother had accidentally destroyed the garden while cleaning and moving things around nearby. Mom hadn’t realized how much work Lyly had put into the flowers.
At first, Lyly felt upset. She crossed her arms and quietly looked away. She wanted her mother to understand how sad she was. But when Mom saw Lyly’s disappointed face, she immediately realized something was wrong.
Mom gently approached her and apologized.
“I’m so sorry, Lyly. I didn’t know this was your special flower garden.”
Lyly looked at her mother and noticed how sorry she truly was. Her anger slowly disappeared. She knew Mom hadn’t destroyed the flowers on purpose.
After a few quiet moments, Lyly nodded and gave her mother a small hug. She realized that mistakes can happen, even when people are trying to help.
Instead of staying angry, Lyly decided to rebuild her garden.
Mom promised to help, and together they carefully collected the damaged plants. They prepared the soil, planted new seeds, and gently watered everything. Lyly smiled as she watched her mother work beside her.
Although the garden would need time to grow again, Lyly no longer felt so sad. She was happy that she and Mom had turned an upsetting moment into something special.
By sunset, Lyly sat beside her mother and looked at the freshly planted garden.
“This time, we’ll take care of it together,” Mom said.
Lyly smiled and nodded.
Her flower garden might have been destroyed, but their love had only grown stronger. ❤️🌸🐒
