Monkey Lyly Tried to Convince Her Mother to Go Out with Her, but All Her Efforts Failed

One bright and beautiful morning, Monkey Lyly woke up feeling full of energy and excitement. She looked outside the window and saw the warm sunshine, colorful flowers, and children happily playing in the park nearby. Lyly immediately had a fun idea — she wanted her mother to go out with her for a little adventure.

Lyly quickly ran to her mother, who was busy cleaning the house and preparing food for the family. With her cutest smile, Lyly hugged her mother’s arm and said sweetly, “Mom, please go outside with me today! The weather is so nice!”

Her mother smiled gently but shook her head. “Not today, Lyly. I still have many things to finish at home.”

But Lyly was not ready to give up so easily.

First, she tried acting extra adorable. She made funny faces, danced around the room, and even rolled on the floor dramatically to make her mother laugh. Although her mother laughed loudly at Lyly’s silly performance, she still continued folding clothes and said, “You are very funny, but I really can’t go right now.”

Lyly then came up with another plan. She brought her mother a cup of water, helped organize the pillows, and even tried sweeping the floor. She hoped that by helping with chores, her mother would change her mind. Her mother appreciated the help and patted Lyly’s head proudly, but once again she answered, “Thank you, Lyly, but I still need to stay home today.”

Feeling determined, Lyly made one final attempt. She wore her favorite little hat, packed snacks into a tiny bag, and stood dramatically near the door with sad puppy eyes. “Mom… please? Just a short walk?”

Her mother walked over, knelt beside her, and gave her a warm hug. “I know you really want to go out together, sweetheart. But sometimes adults have important responsibilities too.”

Lyly finally understood. Although she felt a little disappointed, she nodded quietly. To cheer her up, her mother promised they would go to the park together the next day after finishing all the work.

Hearing that made Lyly smile again. She happily hugged her mother tightly, realizing that even when her plans failed, her mother still loved her very much.
