Monkey Lyly Was So Engrossed in Playing Ball That She Forgot She Had Just Finished Bathing, and Then…

Fresh from her bath, Monkey Lyly felt clean, fluffy, and full of energy. Her fur smelled sweet, and her tiny towel cape fluttered behind her as she trotted across the room. Mom reminded her to stay warm and dry, but Lyly barely listened. Her eyes had already locked onto her favorite colorful ball resting in the corner.

The moment she spotted it, all thoughts of staying clean disappeared. With a happy squeak, Lyly scooped up the ball and dashed into the yard. The grass was still damp from the morning dew, but that only made the game more exciting. She tossed the ball high, chased it with quick little hops, and rolled across the ground in pure delight.

Soon, tiny muddy paw prints appeared behind her. Lyly slid, tumbled, and giggled, completely forgetting that she had just finished bathing. The once-fluffy fur on her belly and legs quickly turned brown and messy. But Lyly didn’t care. She was having the time of her life.

Her joyful laughter soon caught Mom’s attention. When she stepped outside and saw the scene, she froze for a second, then burst into laughter. There was Lyly, hugging her muddy ball, covered from head to toe in dirt, leaves, and grass. The towel lay forgotten near the door, and her clean scent had vanished in minutes.

Mom gently scooped Lyly into her arms, shaking her head with a playful sigh. Lyly looked up innocently, blinking her big eyes as if to ask, “Did I do something wrong?” Seeing her sweet face, Mom couldn’t stay upset. Instead, she wiped away the mud and kissed her forehead.

Back in the bathroom, Lyly had to take another bath. This time, she splashed water everywhere, turning the cleanup into a fun game. By the end, both of them were wet, tired, and laughing.

Wrapped in a warm towel once more, Lyly snuggled close to Mom, finally calm. Though her bath had been short-lived, the memory of her playful adventure remained. And in that moment, Mom realized that these silly, messy experiences were the ones that made life truly joyful and unforgettable.
