Early one morning, Monkey Ri Ri woke up and noticed that Dad was getting ready to go to the farm. He was gathering his tools, preparing some food, and checking everything he needed for a busy day of work.
Ri Ri watched Dad carefully and decided she wanted to help. She was determined to make sure Dad had everything he needed before leaving. Although she was small and a little clumsy, Ri Ri was full of enthusiasm.
First, she tried to organize Dad’s tools. She picked up one tool at a time and carried it toward the bag. Unfortunately, she accidentally dropped a few along the way. Dad smiled when he saw her struggling but decided to let her keep trying.
Next, Ri Ri went to prepare some snacks and water for Dad. She carefully carried a bottle of water, but it was almost too heavy for her. She walked slowly, wobbling from side to side. Suddenly, she stumbled and nearly dropped it!
Dad quickly reached out to help her. Ri Ri looked embarrassed for a moment, but she didn’t give up. She picked everything up and tried again.
Then she found some fresh fruit and placed it into Dad’s lunch bag. The pieces weren’t arranged perfectly, but Ri Ri proudly showed Dad her work.
Dad looked inside the bag and smiled warmly. He realized that Ri Ri had spent all that time trying to help him, even though she wasn’t very good at preparing things yet.
Before Dad left for the farm, Ri Ri brought him his hat and carefully handed him the bag. She gave him a big hug as if wishing him a safe and successful day.
Dad hugged Ri Ri tightly. He was deeply touched by her effort. The things she prepared weren’t perfect, but they were filled with love.
Dad gently told Ri Ri that he appreciated everything she had done. Ri Ri smiled proudly, happy that she had made Dad feel special.
As Dad headed toward the farm, he looked back and waved. Ri Ri stood at the doorway, waving excitedly.
That morning, Ri Ri learned that helping someone doesn’t have to be perfect. Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can carry the biggest amount of love. For Dad, Ri Ri’s clumsy little efforts meant more than anything she could have prepared perfectly.
