It was a beautiful morning on the farm, and the warm sunlight was just beginning to shine across the fields. Dad had an important plan for breakfast. He wanted to make fresh pineapple juice for the family, but first, he needed to harvest some ripe pineapples from the garden.
Zika was nearby when he heard Dad talking about picking pineapples. The curious little monkey immediately became excited. He wanted to help Dad with the morning harvest.
Dad carefully walked between the pineapple plants, looking for fruits that were ripe and ready to pick. Zika followed closely behind, watching everything Dad did. Whenever Dad pointed toward a pineapple, Zika hurried over to inspect it.
Soon, Zika discovered a large pineapple hiding beneath the leaves. He carefully moved the leaves aside and looked at Dad with an excited expression. Dad smiled and showed him how to safely help with the harvest.
Zika tried his best to follow Dad’s instructions. He held the pineapple carefully while Dad loosened it from the plant. When it finally came free, Zika looked extremely proud. He carried it over to the basket and placed it inside.
After that, Zika became even more enthusiastic. He started searching for more ripe pineapples. He walked from one plant to another, carefully checking the fruits. Sometimes he picked one that was too small, and Dad gently explained that they needed to wait a little longer for those.
Before long, the basket was filled with beautiful golden pineapples.
Dad thanked Zika for being such a helpful little worker. Zika seemed very happy and proudly stayed beside the basket.
Back at the house, Dad washed the pineapples and prepared them for breakfast. Zika watched closely as Dad peeled and cut the juicy fruit. When the pieces were placed into the blender, Zika became fascinated by the process.
Finally, the fresh pineapple juice was ready. Dad poured it into a glass and gave Zika a small taste.
Zika’s face instantly brightened! The sweet and refreshing flavor was exactly what he loved.
Dad laughed as Zika happily enjoyed his reward. Thanks to their teamwork, the family had delicious homemade pineapple juice to start the day.
