Early in the morning, the sun slowly rose above the little village, and everyone was still sleepy. But not Monkey Zika! The playful little monkey woke up very early because he smelled something delicious coming from the kitchen. His uncle was already preparing breakfast for the family, and today’s special meal was crispy French fries.
Zika quickly jumped out of bed and ran into the kitchen with excitement. When he saw a big basket of potatoes on the table, his eyes became wide with curiosity. Uncle smiled warmly and said, “Good morning, Zika! Do you want to help me make French fries for breakfast?”
Zika clapped his tiny hands happily. He loved helping in the kitchen, even though he sometimes made funny mistakes. First, Uncle showed him how to wash the potatoes carefully. Zika tried his best, but he accidentally splashed water everywhere, making the kitchen floor slippery. Uncle laughed while Zika scratched his head shyly.
After washing the potatoes, Uncle carefully peeled and sliced them into long strips. Zika watched very closely and tried to copy him using a small safe knife. Some fries became too thick, while others were tiny and funny-looking. Still, Uncle praised him for working hard.
Next came the most exciting part — frying the potatoes. Uncle placed the fries into hot oil, and soon the kitchen was filled with a wonderful smell. Zika could hardly wait. He stood beside the pan, waving a little plate in his hands while his tummy rumbled loudly.
When the fries turned golden and crispy, Uncle placed them onto a big plate and added a little salt. Zika carefully carried the breakfast to the table. Everyone in the family gathered together and happily tasted the homemade fries.
“Wow! These are delicious!” they all said.
Zika felt very proud because he helped make breakfast. Even though the kitchen became a little messy, the morning was filled with laughter, love, and happy memories. From that day on, Monkey Zika always wanted to wake up early and help Uncle cook delicious meals for the family.
