It was a bright and cheerful morning when Baby Monkey woke up ready for another fun day. He stretched, yawned, and stepped outside his little house. But as soon as he looked up, he gasped in surprise.
“Oh no!” Baby Monkey cried.
A strong wind during the night had damaged his tiny house. One side of the roof was hanging down, a few wooden boards had fallen off, and there was even a small hole in the wall. His cozy home looked like it needed a lot of repairs.
At first, Baby Monkey felt worried. Where would he sleep if his house wasn’t fixed?
Then he had an idea.
“I’ll repair it myself!” he said confidently.
Baby Monkey quickly gathered his toolsโa toy hammer, a small bucket, some wooden planks, and a brush. He put on a bright yellow construction hat that was much too big for his head. Every time he moved, the helmet slipped over his eyes, making him look absolutely hilarious.
The repair work began.
First, Baby Monkey tried to carry a large wooden board. It was much bigger than he was! As he dragged it across the yard, he accidentally tripped and rolled into a pile of leaves. Fortunately, he wasn’t hurt, and he laughed at his silly mistake.
Next, he climbed a ladder to fix the roof. But each time he lifted his hammer, the helmet slipped down again. He spent more time adjusting the hat than repairing the roof!
Soon, some animal friends gathered to watch. They giggled as Baby Monkey worked hard, making funny faces and creating unexpected little accidents.
Despite all the comedy, Baby Monkey never gave up. He carefully nailed the boards into place, patched the hole in the wall, and fixed the roof piece by piece.
After many hours of effort, the house finally looked wonderful again.
The roof was secure, the walls were strong, and everything looked neat and tidy.
Baby Monkey proudly stepped back to admire his work. His friends cheered loudly and clapped for him.
Although the repair process was full of funny moments, Baby Monkey learned an important lesson: with patience, determination, and a little humor, even big problems can be fixed.
That evening, he happily relaxed inside his repaired home, smiling proudly at his accomplishment.
