OMG!!!! Monkey Zika returned after the heavy rain and then…

The rain had poured heavily for hours. Dark clouds covered the sky, strong winds shook the trees, and water flooded the small paths around the village. Everyone stayed safely inside their homes, worried about the storm outside.

But there was one little monkey missing — Zika.

Earlier that afternoon, Zika had wandered away to play near the banana garden before the rain suddenly began. As the storm grew stronger, his family became more and more nervous. His mother stood by the door, looking outside every few minutes, hoping to see her little monkey return safely.

“Where is Zika?” she whispered anxiously.

Hours passed, and the rain slowly became lighter. Just as the family was starting to panic, they heard tiny footsteps splashing through puddles outside the house.

Knock! Knock!

The door opened, and everyone gasped.

There stood little Zika, completely soaked from head to toe. His fur was dripping wet, leaves were stuck on his head, and his tiny feet were covered in mud. He looked exhausted but safe.

“Zika!” his mother cried as she quickly hugged him tightly.

At first, the little monkey stayed quiet. Then suddenly, he sneezed loudly and shivered from the cold. Everyone rushed to wrap him in warm towels while his uncle prepared hot soup nearby.

But then something unexpected happened.

As Zika slowly warmed up, he carefully opened the small bag he had been holding tightly against his chest the entire time. Inside were several bananas and wild fruits.

“I brought these home for everyone,” Zika said softly with a shy smile.

The family became silent for a moment. During the terrible storm, while everyone thought Zika was only playing outside, the caring little monkey had actually been trying to collect food for his family before the rain became too heavy.

His mother’s eyes filled with tears after hearing the truth. She gently touched Zika’s muddy face and said, “You scared us so much… but you have such a kind heart.”

Zika smiled proudly while eating his warm soup. Soon, the whole family gathered around him, laughing as he explained how he slipped into puddles, hid under giant leaves, and ran through the rain carrying the fruit bag.

That night, the storm finally ended, and the house felt warmer than ever. Everyone realized that little Zika had returned not only safely, but also with love and care for the people he cherished most.
