One peaceful morning, baby monkey Zika woke up feeling extremely hungry. As soon as he walked into the kitchen, he smelled the delicious aroma of breakfast being prepared nearby. His eyes immediately focused on the frying pan where golden fried eggs were sizzling beautifully. Zika became so excited that he could hardly sit still.
He quickly ran to his mother and pointed at the eggs, making cute little sounds to show how badly he wanted to eat them. His mother smiled warmly and told him to wait patiently because the eggs were still very hot. But little Zika was too excited to listen carefully.
While his mother stepped away for a moment to prepare drinks, curious Zika quietly climbed onto a chair near the stove. He stared at the tasty fried eggs and decided he wanted to grab one all by himself. Thinking it would be easy, the mischievous baby monkey reached toward the hot frying pan.
Suddenly, something terrible happened.
The pan shifted slightly, causing hot oil to splash onto the table. Startled and frightened, Zika lost his balance and nearly fell from the chair. He screamed loudly, making everyone rush into the kitchen in panic. His mother quickly picked him up and carefully checked to see if he was hurt.
Thankfully, Zika was safe, but he was badly frightened by the scary accident. Tears rolled down his tiny face as he clung tightly to his mother’s arms. His family gently comforted him while cleaning up the messy kitchen. The fried eggs that had looked so tempting moments earlier were now scattered across the floor.
After calming down, Zika slowly realized why his mother had warned him to wait. The kitchen can be dangerous, especially for little ones who do not fully understand heat and hot oil. Although he still wanted to eat fried eggs, he finally understood the importance of being patient and careful.
Later that morning, his mother prepared a new plate of delicious fried eggs and safely served them at the table. This time, Zika sat quietly and waited politely before eating. Everyone laughed softly at his embarrassed expression while he happily enjoyed his breakfast.
The frightening moment became an important lesson for baby Zika — sometimes patience can prevent accidents and keep everyone safe.
