Poor little Lala woke up feeling very different that morning. Usually, the playful baby monkey would jump happily on the bed, looking for hugs, toys, and breakfast. But today, Lala lay quietly in her blanket, holding her tiny tummy and making soft, sad sounds. Her bright eyes looked tired, and even her favorite banana didn’t make her smile.
Mom quickly noticed that something was wrong. She gently touched Lala’s forehead and rubbed her little belly. Lala whimpered softly and curled closer into Mom’s arms. Dad also came over, looking worried as he saw how weak the little monkey seemed.
“Oh no, poor Lala is sick,” Mom said sadly. “Her stomach must be hurting.”
Not wanting Lala to suffer, Mom and Dad decided to begin a scientific treatment to help her feel better. First, they carefully checked what Lala had eaten the day before. They remembered she had secretly tasted too many sweet snacks and even nibbled on fruit that had been left out too long. That may have upset her tiny stomach.
Dad prepared warm water and a gentle stomach medicine recommended for little animals. Mom made sure the room stayed quiet and cozy so Lala could rest peacefully. They also used a warm compress on her tummy to ease the pain and help her relax.
At first, Lala looked scared of the medicine, but Mom lovingly held her and whispered comforting words. Slowly, Lala drank the treatment and snuggled against Mom’s chest. The careful steps, proper medicine, and lots of love were all part of the scientific care to help her recover safely.
After resting for a while, Lala began to feel a little better. Her face looked calmer, and she even managed a tiny smile when Dad brought her favorite stuffed toy. By the afternoon, she was sitting up again, looking much brighter than before.
Mom reminded everyone that even little monkeys need healthy food and proper care to keep their stomachs strong. Lala seemed to understand, giving a cute little nod before cuddling close to her parents.
