Smart little monkey Lyly loved helping her mother around the house. One sunny morning, she noticed that her mother looked tired after finishing many chores. Lyly wanted to do something special to make her mother happy.
While checking the kitchen, Lyly discovered that there was no milk left in the refrigerator. She suddenly had a wonderful idea. She would go buy some fresh milk and use it to make delicious smoothies for her mother!
Lyly carefully took a small basket and made her way to the nearby shop. She walked along the path while holding the basket tightly. When she arrived at the shop, she politely chose a bottle of fresh milk. She also noticed some beautiful ripe bananas and sweet strawberries, so she decided to get some fruit for the smoothies.
After paying for everything, Lyly happily carried the groceries home. She was very careful not to drop anything along the way because she knew her mother would be proud of her.
When she arrived home, Lyly placed the milk and fruit on the kitchen table. Her mother was surprised to see her carrying the groceries.
“Lyly, where did you get all these things?” her mother asked with a smile.
Lyly proudly showed her the milk and fruit. She explained that she wanted to make a special drink for her mother.
With her mother watching nearby, Lyly began preparing the smoothies. First, she peeled the bananas and carefully cut the strawberries into smaller pieces. Then she put the fruit into a blender and added fresh milk.
Lyly pressed the button, and the blender started spinning. The colorful fruit quickly turned into a creamy and delicious smoothie.
When it was ready, Lyly poured the smoothie into a glass and proudly carried it to her mother.
Her mother took a sip and smiled warmly. “Wow! This is delicious!”
Lyly became very happy. Seeing her mother enjoy the smoothie made all her hard work worthwhile.
Her mother gave Lyly a big hug and thanked her for being so thoughtful and helpful.
That day, Lyly learned that even a small act of kindness could bring a big smile to someone she loved. From then on, she always looked for new ways to help her mother and make their days a little happier.
