Early one sunny morning, Zika the smart little monkey woke up full of energy and ready to help his dad. As he stepped outside, he noticed Dad carrying a basket of fresh potatoes from the garden.
“Good morning, Zika!” Dad said with a smile. “Would you like to help me cook some delicious potatoes for lunch?”
Zika clapped his hands excitedly. He loved helping Dad in the kitchen. Together, they washed the potatoes carefully in a bucket of clean water. Zika scrubbed each potato until it was shiny and clean. Dad laughed as the little monkey proudly showed off his hard work.
After washing the potatoes, Dad peeled and sliced them while Zika helped carry the pieces to a large cooking pot. Soon, the kitchen was filled with the wonderful smell of potatoes cooking. Zika stirred the pot carefully with a wooden spoon while Dad added vegetables and spices.
Just as lunch was almost ready, they heard a tiny bark outside.
“Woof! Woof!”
It was the family’s playful puppy. The little dog looked lonely and wanted attention. Dad was busy finishing the meal, so Zika decided to help.
“I’ll take care of the puppy!” Zika said happily.
The puppy wagged its tail as Zika brought it a bowl of fresh water. Then he gave the puppy some food and made sure it ate properly. After eating, the puppy wanted to play, so Zika tossed a small ball across the yard. The puppy chased after it with excitement, running in circles and making everyone laugh.
For the next hour, Zika watched over the puppy, making sure it stayed safe and happy. Whenever the puppy got tired, Zika gently patted its head and sat beside it under a shady tree.
When lunchtime arrived, Dad called everyone to the table. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and smelled amazing. Dad smiled proudly at Zika.
“You did a wonderful job today,” Dad said. “You helped cook lunch and took excellent care of the puppy.”
Zika felt proud and happy. The puppy barked happily beside him as if it agreed.
From that day on, everyone knew that smart little Zika was not only a great helper in the kitchen but also a caring friend who always looked after those who needed him. 🐵🥔🐶❤️
