Smart Monkey Zika Helps Dad Harvest Watermelon in the Garden to Feed Piglets
It was a bright and sunny morning on the farm. The birds were singing, and a cool breeze drifted through the garden. Monkey Zika woke up early and noticed that his dad was already outside checking the watermelon patch.
“Good morning, Dad!” Zika called as he ran over.
“Good morning, Zika,” Dad replied with a smile. “Today is a special day. The watermelons are finally ready to harvest!”
Zika’s eyes sparkled with excitement. He loved helping on the farm, especially when it involved picking fresh fruits.
“Can I help?” he asked eagerly.
“Of course!” Dad said.
Together, they walked into the garden where dozens of large, green watermelons rested among the vines. Some were so big that Zika could barely wrap his arms around them.
Dad showed Zika how to choose ripe watermelons by checking their color and tapping them gently.
“Listen for a deep sound,” Dad explained. “That means the watermelon is sweet and juicy.”
Zika carefully tapped a watermelon and smiled. “I think this one is perfect!”
“Great job!” Dad said proudly.
The smart little monkey worked hard all morning. He helped cut the ripe watermelons from the vines and placed them into a cart. Even though the work was tiring, Zika never complained. He was happy to help his father.
When the cart was full, they pushed it back to the farmyard. Nearby, a group of hungry piglets was waiting for their meal.
“Oink! Oink!” the piglets squealed excitedly.
Dad sliced open a giant watermelon. The bright red fruit looked delicious and refreshing.
“Wow!” Zika exclaimed.
Together, they cut the watermelon into smaller pieces and placed them in feeding trays. The piglets rushed over and happily munched on the sweet fruit.
Watching the piglets enjoy their meal made Zika smile.
“They really love watermelon!” he laughed.
“Yes,” Dad replied. “And thanks to your hard work, they have plenty to eat today.”
The piglets wagged their tails and squealed with delight as they finished every last bite.
That evening, Dad patted Zika on the shoulder.
“You were a wonderful helper today,” he said.
Zika felt proud and happy. He had learned that working together, helping family, and caring for animals made every day on the farm special and rewarding. 🍉🐵🐷❤️
