It was a beautiful morning on the farm, and Dad was already busy preparing for the day’s work. The watermelon field was full of ripe, juicy fruits, and Dad knew it was time to harvest them before the hot afternoon sun became too strong.
Little monkey Zika noticed Dad carrying a basket toward the field. As soon as he realized what was happening, Zika excitedly followed him. He loved helping Dad with farm work, especially when there was something interesting to discover.
Dad carefully checked each watermelon, looking for the ones that were perfectly ripe. Zika watched closely and tried to copy everything Dad did. When Dad picked up a watermelon, Zika reached for a smaller one and proudly carried it with both hands.
“Good job, Zika!” Dad said with a big smile.
Zika seemed very proud of himself.
Soon, the basket became full. Dad explained that some of the watermelons would be used to feed their pig. Zika immediately became excited and wanted to help even more.
He carefully carried another watermelon toward the pig’s feeding area. It was a little heavy for his tiny arms, so Zika stopped several times to rest. But he refused to give up. With determination, he finally reached the pig.
The pig became excited when it saw Zika approaching with the fresh watermelon. It happily waited while Dad cut the watermelon into smaller pieces.
As soon as the food was ready, the pig began eating. Zika watched with a huge smile, clearly delighted that his hard work had helped provide a meal.
But Zika wasn’t finished yet.
He ran back to the field and found another small watermelon. Dad laughed when he saw Zika trying to carry it all by himself.
“Are you helping me again?” Dad asked.
Zika proudly nodded and continued working.
Together, Dad and Zika harvested several ripe watermelons. Their teamwork made the job much easier and turned an ordinary farm morning into a wonderful family adventure.
By the end of the day, the pig was happily full, the harvested watermelons were safely stored, and Zika was exhausted but proud.
Dad gently patted Zika and thanked him for being such a smart and hardworking little helper.
Zika’s tiny contribution may have seemed simple, but his enthusiasm, determination, and loving heart made the farm day extra special. 🍉🐒❤️🐷
