So Fun!!! Baby Zika Makes Grilled Shrimp for Bear Dog and Then…

One sunny afternoon, Baby Zika was playing in the yard when she noticed Bear Dog lying under the tree, looking bored and a little hungry. Zika tilted her head and smiled mischievously. “Hmm… I have an idea!” she whispered to herself.

She ran into the kitchen and peeked into the fridge. “Shrimp! Perfect!” Zika clapped her tiny hands with excitement. She had seen her aunt cook grilled shrimp before, and now she wanted to surprise Bear Dog with a delicious treat.

Zika carefully washed the shrimp, though she splashed water everywhere and giggled at the mess. Then she tried to season them just like she remembered—adding a little salt, a bit of sauce, and way too much garlic! “Hehe, Bear Dog will LOVE this!” she said confidently.

Next came the tricky part—grilling. Zika dragged a small stool over to the stove and, with great effort, placed the shrimp onto a little pan. The sizzling sound made her eyes widen. “Wow! So fun!!!” she laughed, watching the shrimp turn pink.

Meanwhile, Bear Dog sniffed the air from outside. His ears perked up, and his tail started wagging fast. “Woof?” he barked, curious about the delicious smell.

Finally, Zika proudly carried the plate outside. “Surprise, Bear Dog! I made grilled shrimp just for you!” she announced.

Bear Dog rushed over and sniffed eagerly. Without waiting, he gobbled up the shrimp in seconds. Zika clapped happily. “See? I told you it was yummy!”

But then… something unexpected happened.

Bear Dog suddenly stopped, his face making a funny expression. His tongue stuck out, and he began to run in circles. “Woof! Woof!” he barked loudly, as if asking for help.

Zika blinked in confusion. “Huh? What’s wrong?”

Her aunt quickly came outside and realized the problem. “Oh no, Zika! You added too much garlic! Dogs shouldn’t eat that much!”

Zika’s eyes grew wide. “Oh no… I didn’t know…”

Thankfully, Bear Dog was okay after drinking lots of water and resting. Zika hugged him gently. “I’m sorry, Bear Dog. Next time, I’ll learn the right recipe!”

From that day on, Zika still loved cooking—but she always made sure to ask first. And even though things didn’t go as planned, it was a funny and unforgettable adventure!
