It was a bright and busy afternoon when baby monkey Xuka got an exciting invitation from his aunt. “Come on, Xuka! We’re going to the supermarket!” she said with a smile. Xuka’s eyes lit up instantly. He had never been to such a big place before, and the idea of exploring it made him bounce with excitement.
As soon as they arrived, Xuka froze at the entrance. His mouth dropped open. “Wow…” he whispered. Rows and rows of colorful items stretched as far as he could see. Shiny fruits, stacked snacks, and tall shelves filled with things he didn’t even recognize—it was like a magical jungle of food!
Xuka quickly grabbed onto the shopping cart and climbed in before his aunt could stop him. Sitting proudly, he looked around like a little king on a moving throne. As his aunt pushed the cart, Xuka pointed at everything. “That! And that! Oh—and THAT!”
In the fruit section, Xuka spotted a pile of bananas. His favorite! He squealed with joy, jumping up and down in the cart. Without waiting, he grabbed one and started peeling it clumsily. “Xuka, we haven’t paid yet!” his aunt laughed, gently stopping him.
But Xuka wasn’t done being funny.
As they passed the snack aisle, he reached out and accidentally pulled down a small bag of chips. Then another… and another! Soon, a mini avalanche of snacks surrounded the cart. Xuka blinked, surprised, then started giggling uncontrollably.
His aunt tried to keep a straight face while picking everything up. “You’re turning this into a comedy show!” she said.
Then came the funniest moment of all. Near the checkout, Xuka saw his reflection in a shiny surface. He tilted his head, made funny faces, and even tried to “talk” to the monkey staring back at him. When the “other monkey” copied him exactly, Xuka jumped back in shock—then burst into laughter.
By the time they got home, Xuka was tired but still smiling. His aunt shook her head, amused. “Shopping with you is never boring!”
That day, Xuka didn’t just visit the supermarket—he turned it into a hilarious adventure no one would forget.
