Lily is a playful little monkey who loves exploring, climbing trees, and running around the garden from morning until sunset. Every day is filled with exciting adventures, so by the evening she is usually exhausted. One particularly busy day, Lily had so much fun that she barely had enough energy to keep her eyes open.
After spending the afternoon chasing butterflies, helping her dad gather fresh fruit, and playing hide-and-seek with her favorite toys, Lily yawned again and again. Mom wondered why Lily had not returned. “Lily?” she called softly, but there was no answer. Curious, Mom walked toward the bathroom and gently opened the door.
There sat little Lily, fast asleep with her head leaning comfortably to one side. She looked so peaceful that Mom couldn’t help but smile. It was such an unexpected sight that she quietly giggled before reaching for her phone to snap a funny family photo.
Just then, Dad came over to see what was happening. One look at the sleepy little monkey, and he burst into laughter too. Their laughter finally woke Lily, who blinked in confusion and looked around, wondering why everyone was smiling at her.
When Mom explained that she had accidentally fallen asleep while going to the toilet, Lily covered her face with both hands in playful embarrassment. Then she laughed along with her parents, realizing just how funny the situation had been.
After helping Lily finish getting ready for bed, Mom tucked her into her cozy blanket and kissed her goodnight. Within seconds, Lily was sound asleep again—this time in the right place!
