On a quiet road one late afternoon, something unexpected made me stop my car. Right in the middle of the road stood a tiny stray kitten, crying softly and refusing to move. On the drive home, she stayed curled up peacefully, no longer scared of the world outside. Once we arrived, I gave her warm milk, a cozy blanket, and a safe corner to sleep in. She quickly made herself at home, purring softly as if thanking me for giving her a second chance.
