It was a peaceful morning in the village, and everything seemed perfectly normal—until CUTIS decided it was the perfect time for a little mischief. With a cheeky grin, he spotted the family goat nibbling quietly near the fence. An idea popped into his head instantly.
“Let’s have some fun,” CUTIS whispered, gently guiding the goat away.
Meanwhile, Mom was busy preparing food and didn’t notice anything unusual. CUTIS carefully led the goat behind a large pile of hay and covered part of it with a cloth, leaving just enough space for the goat to stay calm. “Shhh… don’t make a sound,” he said, trying not to giggle.
A few minutes later, Mom stepped outside. “Where’s the goat?” she called out, looking around. The goat was nowhere in sight. CUTIS stood nearby, pretending to be innocent, though his twitching smile almost gave him away.
“I don’t know, Mom,” he said, shrugging. “Maybe it wandered off?”
Mom frowned and began searching. She checked behind the fence, near the trees, and even called out loudly, “Come here, little goat!” But there was no response.
CUTIS followed her, trying his best not to burst into laughter. Every time Mom looked the other way, he made funny faces at the hidden goat, barely holding it together.
Soon, Mom started to worry. “Oh no, what if it got lost?” she said, her voice filled with concern.
Seeing this, CUTIS realized his prank had gone a little too far. He quickly ran to the haystack and pulled off the cloth. “Surprise!” he shouted.
The goat popped its head out with a soft bleat.
Mom turned around in shock, then placed her hands on her hips. “CUTIS!” she exclaimed—but before she could scold him, she started laughing. The sight of the goat hiding so quietly, along with CUTIS’s guilty face, was just too funny.
Even nearby villagers and fans who had been watching couldn’t stop laughing. The whole scene was full of joy and silliness.
“I’m sorry, Mom,” CUTIS said, still smiling.
Mom shook her head, laughing. “Next time, no hiding the goat!”
