Lyly the monkey has always loved fashion. Whether it’s a sparkly dress, a princess skirt, or a tiny handbag, she enjoys dressing up and showing off her style. But this time, Lyly had something completely different in mind — something she called her “super cool” look.
One sunny afternoon, Lyly disappeared into her room unusually quietly. Her mom grew curious, wondering what little mischief or creativity was happening behind that closed door. After a few minutes of rustling sounds and the occasional giggle, the door slowly creaked open.

She had put on an oversized pair of sunglasses that nearly covered half her tiny face. Around her neck hung a shiny toy chain, and she had wrapped a bright red scarf around her head like a movie star. But that wasn’t all. She was wearing mismatched socks — one striped, one polka-dotted — and a little jacket that was clearly two sizes too big. To complete the outfit, she carried a small toy microphone, strutting across the living room like she was on a fashion runway.
“Ta-da!” Lyly announced confidently, striking a dramatic pose.
For a moment, her mom froze. Then she couldn’t hold it in any longer — she burst out laughing! Not because Lyly looked silly, but because she looked so proud and serious about her “super cool” creation. Lyly’s tiny chin was lifted high, and she walked with exaggerated confidence, as if cameras were flashing all around her.
“Mom, do I look cool?” Lyly asked, adjusting her sunglasses.
“You look… unbelievably cool!” her mom replied between giggles, wiping happy tears from her eyes.
Instead of feeling embarrassed, Lyly grinned even wider. She began dancing, spinning, and posing in every corner of the room. Her confidence was contagious, and soon both mother and daughter were laughing together.
