It was a beautiful sunny morning, and CUTIS was already awake before Dad had finished breakfast. Today was a special day because Dad had an exciting job planned—harvesting a fresh bunch of bananas from the family farm.
But there was something else that made CUTIS even more excited.
Parked outside was Dad’s shiny supercar!
CUTIS stared at the car with wide, sparkling eyes. He quickly ran around it, admiring the sleek body and enormous wheels. Then he climbed into the driver’s seat and proudly placed his little hands on the steering wheel.
Dad laughed. “Are you ready to be my little driver?”
CUTIS nodded excitedly and pretended to drive. He turned the steering wheel left and right while making funny driving sounds.
Of course, Dad stayed right beside him and made sure everything was safe. After their playful moment, Dad carefully drove the supercar toward the banana farm while CUTIS sat happily beside him.
When they arrived, CUTIS couldn’t wait to get started.
The banana trees were full of fresh, green bunches. Dad picked up the harvesting tools and showed CUTIS how to help carefully. CUTIS carried a small basket and followed Dad between the rows of trees.
Whenever Dad cut down a bunch of bananas, CUTIS clapped excitedly.
“Another one!” CUTIS seemed to say with a huge smile.
Soon, the little basket became full. CUTIS proudly carried it back to the car, though it looked almost as big as he was!
Dad smiled and helped him load the bananas into the back.
After finishing the harvest, CUTIS climbed into the passenger seat and looked back at the mountain of bananas.
He seemed very proud of his hard work.
On the way home, Dad stopped briefly so CUTIS could sit in the driver’s seat again while the car was safely parked. CUTIS grabbed the steering wheel and gave Dad his biggest grin.
What a wonderful farming adventure!
CUTIS had discovered that even a supercar couldn’t make him happier than spending a fun day working alongside his dad. And with a car full of freshly harvested bananas, the two returned home smiling all the way.
