It was a peaceful afternoon when Monkey Lyly was enjoying time around her little house. The sky was bright, and everything seemed normal. Lyly happily played with a few things in the yard while her mother worked nearby. Neither of them expected that the weather would suddenly change.
After a while, Lyly looked up at the sky and noticed some dark clouds slowly gathering. A cool wind began blowing through the yard, making the leaves move from side to side. Lyly became curious and watched the clouds carefully. She seemed to realize that rain might be coming soon.
Suddenly, a stronger wind blew across the yard. Lyly quickly became worried about her little house. She knew that heavy rain could make the ground wet and possibly damage some of the things around the house. Without waiting for her mother to tell her what to do, Lyly immediately started protecting her home.
First, she rushed around the yard and moved several small items to a safer place. She carefully carried things that could be damaged by rain and placed them under a covered area. Then she checked the entrance to her little house and made sure everything was in the right position.
Her mother noticed Lyly working so quickly and came over to see what was happening. Lyly continued moving around with determination, as if she had an important job to finish before the first raindrops arrived. Her mother watched proudly and helped her with the heavier things.
Just as they finished, the first drops of rain began falling from the sky. Lyly looked toward her house and seemed relieved. Within minutes, the rain became heavier, but most of the important things had already been moved to safety.
Lyly stayed close to her mother and watched the rain from the shelter. She seemed very proud of herself for acting so quickly.
Her mother gently comforted her and showed how proud she was of Lyly. What began as an ordinary afternoon turned into an unforgettable moment. Lyly proved that even a little monkey can be very responsible when it comes to protecting her home and family.
