What did dad do to make the little monkey Xuka so sad

monkey Xuka sat quietly on the wooden step outside the house, hugging his favorite toy tightly. Usually, Xuka was full of energy, jumping around the garden and chasing butterflies. But today, he looked completely different. His tiny eyes were watery, and his face was filled with sadness. Even puppy Kun noticed something was wrong and sat beside him silently.

Earlier that morning, Xuka had been happily helping Dad clean the yard. He carried little leaves in his tiny hands and proudly showed Dad how hard he was working. Xuka loved spending time with Dad because every chore felt like a fun adventure. But while they were cleaning, Xuka accidentally knocked over Dad’s flower pot. The beautiful pot crashed onto the ground and broke into pieces.

Dad became upset immediately. Without thinking, he raised his voice loudly at Xuka. “Why are you always so careless?” Dad shouted. The harsh words shocked little Xuka. His smile disappeared instantly, and he lowered his head in silence. He never wanted to make Dad angry. He only wanted to help.

After that, Xuka slowly walked away and sat alone outside. He kept remembering Dad’s angry face over and over again. Even though the flower pot was just an accident, Xuka felt like he had disappointed the person he loved most.

Inside the house, Dad looked at the broken pot and suddenly realized something important. The pot could be replaced, but hurting Xuka’s feelings was much harder to fix. Dad remembered how excited Xuka had been to help earlier that morning. Guilt filled his heart.

Dad walked outside quietly and saw Xuka wiping tears from his little cheeks. Sitting beside him, Dad gently placed a hand on Xuka’s head. “I’m sorry for yelling,” Dad said softly. “You were only trying to help me.”

Xuka looked up slowly. Dad smiled warmly and pulled him into a big hug. Soon, Xuka’s sadness faded away. Together, they cleaned up the broken pieces and even planted new flowers in another pot.

By the end of the day, little monkey Xuka was smiling again, happily holding Dad’s hand as the sun went down.
