Early in the morning, the little baby monkey woke up with bright eyes and a playful smile. She looked around the room and quickly noticed that her dad was already busy cleaning and preparing breakfast. Instead of running outside to play as she usually did, the baby monkey quietly walked over and tugged gently on her dad’s shirt.
Her dad smiled and asked, “What do you want, little one?”
The baby monkey pointed toward the kitchen and made cute little sounds, trying her best to explain. Dad guessed that maybe she was hungry, so he offered her some fruit and milk. But the baby monkey shook her head and continued pointing toward the counter.
After thinking for a moment, Dad finally understood. The baby monkey wanted him to make her favorite summer treat — a delicious cold fruit dessert that they always enjoyed together on warm days.
Excited, Dad gathered fresh strawberries, bananas, and sweet mango pieces. The baby monkey happily watched every step, clapping her tiny hands as he prepared the special treat. She even tried to help by carrying a small spoon to the table.
Soon, the colorful dessert was ready. Dad added some cold yogurt and a few ice cubes to make it extra refreshing. The baby monkey’s eyes grew wide with excitement as she took her very first bite.
“Mmm!” she squealed happily.
But the surprise wasn’t over yet. After finishing her dessert, the baby monkey hugged her dad tightly and pointed toward the garden. This time, she wanted something even more special.
She wanted Dad to sit with her under the trees, play games, and spend time together.
Dad laughed warmly and joined her outside. As they played and enjoyed the sunny afternoon, Dad realized that what the baby monkey wanted most wasn’t the dessert at all.
She simply wanted time, love, and happy memories with her dad.
