As the sun slowly disappeared behind the trees, little monkey Zika became more energetic than ever. While everyone in the house was preparing to rest after a long day, Zika’s bright eyes were still full of curiosity and excitement. Nobody could guess what funny adventure he was secretly planning for the night.
At first, Zika quietly sat near the window watching the stars appear in the dark sky. The cool evening breeze gently moved the curtains while he hugged his favorite small pillow. Mom thought Zika was finally becoming sleepy, but she had no idea that the naughty monkey was only pretending to be calm.
A few minutes later, Zika carefully tiptoed into the kitchen. He looked left and right to make sure nobody noticed him. Then he quietly opened the snack cabinet and discovered some bananas, peanuts, and sweet biscuits. His face instantly lit up with happiness. Instead of eating them immediately, Zika gathered the snacks into a tiny pile as if preparing for a secret midnight party.
Suddenly, puppy Bear appeared behind him and barked softly. Zika became surprised and quickly covered the snacks with a towel. But after realizing it was only his little friend, Zika happily shared a banana with Bear. The two sat together on the kitchen floor like best friends enjoying a late-night picnic.
The funniest moment happened when Zika decided to explore the backyard under the moonlight. Holding a small flashlight upside down, he bravely walked around searching for mysterious sounds in the bushes. Every time the leaves moved, Zika jumped back dramatically and made silly faces that caused Dad to laugh from the doorway.
Later that night, Mom finally found Zika lying peacefully beside Bear on a soft blanket. Crumbs from biscuits were still around them, and the flashlight was resting near Zika’s tiny hand. Even though he tried to stay awake for adventure, the sleepy monkey could no longer keep his eyes open.
Before carrying him to bed, Mom smiled lovingly and whispered, “Zika always turns nighttime into a funny little adventure.” And honestly, everyone agreed that life would be much quieter without the adorable monkey’s endless curiosity and playful imagination.
