monkey Lyly woke up early in the morning feeling happy and playful. As usual, the first thing she wanted was her favorite pink pacifier. Lyly looked beside her pillow, under her blanket, and even inside her tiny toy basket, but it was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, her happy smile disappeared. “Oh no! Where is my pacifier?” she cried loudly.
Lyly quickly jumped off the bed and started searching everywhere around the house. She looked under the table, behind the sofa, and inside the kitchen cabinets. Every few seconds, she called out, “Mommy, have you seen my pacifier?” Her mother tried not to laugh because Lyly looked so funny running around with messy hair and worried eyes.
The little monkey refused to give up. She searched in the garden near the flowers, inside her toy car, and even checked Puppy Kun’s sleeping basket. Kun looked confused as Lyly carefully lifted his blanket to inspect every corner. The puppy wagged his tail innocently as if asking, “Why are you searching my bed?”
After almost an hour of searching, Lyly became tired and sat sadly on the floor. Her tiny face looked ready to cry. Mom gently hugged her and said, “Think carefully, Lyly. Where did you last use it?” Lyly closed her eyes and tried hard to remember.
Suddenly, her eyes opened wide. “I know!” she shouted excitedly. Yesterday evening, Lyly had been eating bananas while watching cartoons outside in the yard. She quickly ran toward the old wooden swing near the tree. Kun followed closely behind her, barking happily.
When Lyly reached the swing, she looked underneath it carefully. And there it was — her precious pink pacifier covered in a little dust! Lyly jumped with joy and hugged it tightly like a treasure. “I found it! I found it!” she laughed loudly.
Mom cleaned the pacifier carefully while Kun happily ran circles around them. Lyly finally sat peacefully with her favorite pacifier again, smiling from ear to ear. From that day on, everyone teased Lyly lovingly, reminding her to always keep her special pacifier in a safe place so the big search adventure would never happen again
