What’s wrong, Lyly Monkey Lyly ran away because an animal she disliked seeing appeared on TV.

Monkey Lyly was having a peaceful afternoon with her family. After eating bananas and playing outside, she climbed onto the sofa beside Dad to watch television. Lyly loved cartoons, funny animal shows, and colorful music videos. She happily hugged her stuffed toy and stared at the screen with excitement.

At first, everything was fun. A cheerful cartoon bird danced across the screen, making Lyly giggle loudly. Then a cooking show appeared, and Lyly pointed excitedly at the delicious fruits on TV. Dad smiled as he watched her enjoy every moment.

But suddenly, the program changed to a wildlife documentary. On the screen appeared a large snake slowly moving through the jungle grass. The snake’s long body and cold eyes immediately frightened Lyly. She had always disliked snakes ever since she saw one in the garden near her house months ago.

The moment Lyly noticed the snake on TV, her happy expression disappeared. Her eyes widened in fear, and she quickly covered her face with both hands. “No! No!” she squeaked nervously. Dad tried to reassure her that it was only a television show, but Lyly was already too scared.

Without warning, little Lyly jumped off the sofa and ran out of the room as fast as she could. Her tiny feet rushed down the hallway while Dad called after her. Puppy Kun barked in confusion and followed behind her curiously.

Lyly finally hid inside her bedroom under a blanket, trembling slightly. She peeked out carefully to make sure the scary snake was not following her. Even though it was only on TV, Lyly’s imagination made it feel very real.

A few minutes later, Dad entered the room quietly carrying Lyly’s favorite banana snack. He sat beside her gently and said, “It’s okay, Lyly. The snake cannot hurt you. It was only a video.”

Slowly, Lyly crawled out from under the blanket. Dad changed the TV channel to her favorite cartoon again and promised to avoid scary animal shows next time. Soon, Lyly began smiling once more.

Back in the living room, Lyly sat close beside Dad while watching cartoons safely. This time, whenever a new animal appeared on screen, she carefully checked it first before relaxing again. Everyone laughed softly, especially when puppy Kun barked bravely at the television as if protecting little Lyly from every scary creature.
