It was a bright and cheerful morning in the little family’s garden. Birds were singing, the flowers were blooming, and Bibi and Lala were happily helping Mom pick ripe red tomatoes. Everything felt peaceful—until Bon showed up with a mysterious smile on his face.
Bon, the playful little monkey, had been unusually quiet all morning. That alone made Bibi and Lala curious. He was hiding something behind his back and tiptoeing around the yard like he was planning the biggest surprise ever.
“Bon, what are you doing?” Lala asked, tilting her head.
Bon only giggled and ran behind the big mango tree.
A few moments later, he suddenly jumped out wearing Mom’s large sun hat, Dad’s sunglasses, and carrying a basket full of green tomatoes on his head like a fancy crown. But that wasn’t even the funniest part.
Bon started walking in a silly way, copying how Mom carefully balanced baskets during harvest time. He wobbled left, then right, making exaggerated faces and pretending to be super serious. The basket shook so much that a few tomatoes bounced out and rolled across the grass.
For one second, Bibi and Lala stared in complete shock.
Then they completely lost it.
They burst into uncontrollable laughter, rolling on the grass and holding their tummies. Bibi laughed so hard that tears came to her eyes, while Lala pointed at Bon’s oversized hat that kept slipping over his face.
Bon loved seeing them laugh, so he made it even funnier. He started dancing in circles, pretending the tomatoes were precious jewels. Suddenly, one tomato popped out of the basket and landed softly on his head, making everyone laugh even louder.
Even Mom couldn’t stop laughing when she saw the silly performance.
Soon the whole family joined in, turning the tomato harvest into the happiest and funniest moment of the day.
By the end of the afternoon, Bibi and Lala agreed on one thing: Bon always knew exactly how to turn an ordinary day into a memory full of laughter and joy.
