It was a warm and sunny afternoon, and Lily had been busy playing outside with her family. After running around the yard and enjoying her little adventures, she suddenly felt very thirsty.
Lily looked toward the kitchen and noticed some fresh pineapples sitting on the table. Her eyes immediately became wide with excitement.
Pineapple juice!
Lily quickly went to find Dad and gently pulled on his hand, trying to get his attention. She pointed toward the kitchen and then toward the pineapples.
Dad smiled.
“Are you asking for pineapple juice?” he asked.
Lily nodded enthusiastically.
Dad laughed and decided to make her favorite drink. He brought the fresh pineapples to the kitchen while Lily eagerly followed behind him. She watched carefully as Dad washed, peeled, and cut the fruit into small pieces.
Lily could hardly wait.
Every few seconds, she peeked at the blender, hoping the juice would be ready soon. Her adorable expression made Dad laugh.
Finally, Dad placed the pineapple pieces into the blender and turned it on.
WHIRRRR!
Lily jumped slightly at the loud sound but quickly became excited again. Soon, the fresh pineapple juice was ready.
Dad poured it into a small cup and handed it to Lily.
Lily carefully held the cup with both hands. Before taking the first sip, she smelled the sweet pineapple aroma.
Then she took a drink.
Her face immediately lit up with happiness!
Lily loved it.
She took another sip, then another, enjoying every drop of the refreshing juice. Dad watched her with a big smile.
But Lily wasn’t finished yet.
She pointed at the cup and then at the blender, making it clear that she wanted more!
Dad laughed and said, “Slow down, Lily!”
Lily simply smiled and continued enjoying her special treat.
After finishing her juice, Lily looked much happier and more energetic. She thanked Dad in her own adorable way before returning outside to play.
It was just a simple cup of pineapple juice, but for Lily, it turned an ordinary afternoon into a wonderful little moment.
